Stag Lodge Stables is a friendly, British Horse Society-approved family-run stable. The stables are rich in heritage and have been established since 1790. Stag Lodge Stables is located next to one of Her Majesty's Royal Parks, Richmond Park.
There is a wide selection of about 40 horses on the yard, ranging from Shetland ponies who can give pony rides to three-year-olds, to 16hh Irish hunters, forward-going horses that are excellent jumpers.
Rides are available Tuesday through Sunday, either in one of Stag Lodge Stables' floodlit arenas or in glorious Richmond Park. Throughout the summer, evening hacks and pub rides are available, allowing riders to experience the park at its very best.
