London Heathside—North London
London Heathside is one of the friendlier and more welcoming running clubs in the area. Open to runners of all ages, abilities and experience, London Heathside encourages enjoyment of running and physical activity.
Its members regularly run together at venues in Haringey, Camden, Islington and Hackney, and also compete in cross country, road racing and track-and-field events depending on the season.

West 4 Harriers—West London
With ages ranging from 20s to 60s, the 90-member West 4 Harriers Running Club in Chiswick is one of the most diverse and welcoming running clubs in London.
West 4 Harriers offer three runs throughout the week. Monday’s six-mile run is an easier, sociable run, while on Tuesdays and Thursdays the club focuses on hill and speed sessions for training. Members regularly run races of varying distances throughout the United Kingdom.

The Stragglers—South London
Founded in 1981, the Stragglers run all over the parks and streets in south London. Focused on leisurely runs, staying in shape and socializing, the Stragglers welcome interested runners of all ages and abilities.
In addition to regular weekly runs, some members run competitively in the greater London area and independently organise running events and teams.

East End Road Runners—East London
The East End Road Runners are based out of the Newham Leisure Centre, where members have exclusive access to the centre’s eight-lane synthetic outdoor track on Tuesday evenings. These meetings also feature coaching sessions to improve running techniques.
The club is easily accessed by the Underground’s District Line at the Plaistow stop.

Serpentine Running Club—Central London
At 2,296 members, the Serpentine Running Club is the largest organised running group in London. The club competes in cross country events in the winter, track-and-field events in the spring and summer and road racing year-around.
The club meets every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday for group runs with coaching sessions offered throughout the week. Because of the club’s location in central London, Serpentine often welcomes guest participants from overseas.
