 Bromley & Beckenham was formed by the merger of two of the oldest hockey clubs in London and is now in its 6th season. Bromley and Beckenham Hockey Club play hockey each weekend with eight men's teams and five ladies' teams. The men's top team currently plays in the National League East Division and is now the only club in southeast London with Men's National League status. The ladies' top team is only one step away from National League Hockey, competing in the East Premier League.
 
Bromley and Beckenham Hockey Club has more 275 members in our junior section alone, making the club not only the ideal place for families to play hockey together but also one of the largest clubs in the United Kingdom. Junior development is viewed as critical for future success of the club and has a thriving youth division with approximately 300 children taking part every weekend, aging from 8 to 18.

Richmond Hockey Club is one of the oldest clubs in London. The club offers some of the best facilities in London in addition to an excellent coaching staff and a range of teams to suit all abilities and ambitions.

With seven ladies' teams, 11 men's teams and 14 juniors' teams, it is the largest hockey clubs in London and also offers the most teams.
 
Playing hockey at Richmond is a fantastic opportunity to keep fit, meet new people and unleash your inner competitiveness! Richmond Hockey Club also has a very active social calendar with many functions and events planned throughout the year.

Conveniently located in southwest London, the Richmond Hockey Club teams play home games in Chiswick, just a short walk away from Chiswick train station and several bus routes.

Fastest growing: King's and Alleyn's Hockey Club

King's & Alleyn's Hockey Club is a friendly, sociable and fast-growing hockey club located in southeast London. The club always welcomes new members and currently offers four men's and two ladies' teams to cater to various abilities and standards of play.

The hockey club trains on Wednesday nights at King's College Sports Ground, Brockley Rise, SE23 1NW. Home games are played there or at the other home ground, Alleyn's School, Townley Road, SE22 8SU.

Oldest: Teddington Hockey Club

Established in 1871, Teddington Hockey Club in Surrey is the oldest hockey club in the world. The club runs eight men's teams and six ladies' teams as well as juniors' teams for all ages, and welcomes new players at all playing levels.
 
The men's first team won the 2011 South League Championship, moving it to National League status for the upcoming season. It was also nominated for team of the season at England Hockey's annual awards. 
 
Teddington Hockey Club operates in southwest London, with its facilities located at St. Mary's pitch and Broom Road School in Teddington.

Friendliest: London Strollers

London Strollers Hockey Club is a friendly mixed hockey club that play social field hockey on astro-turf in and around London and the Home Counties area. The club play competes weekly on Sundays between April and September. Play normally starts after 12 noon but when attending tournaments, it may start earlier.

The club currently field four regular sides. Friends and guests occasionally join our regular members.
 
London Strollers encourages beginners and those especially who need to brush up on their skills to join. Re-starters are also welcomed, so do come and sample the delights of the game and the social atmosphere that prevails, especially those who haven't played since their school days.

Best facilities: Southgate Hockey Club

Southgate Hockey Club has been at the forefront of the sport since it was created in 1886. Operating out of its own Southgate Hockey Centre, the club offers some of the best facilities available in London for hockey.

Boasting 16 hockey teams, Southgate offers opportunities for competitive and recreational hockey for both mean at women at eight teams each.
 
Located in Trent Park, the Southgate Hockey Centre includes both sand and water pitches as well as changing facilities and a snack bar.
