Sport of the Month London Victoria Park
About Victoria Park
Victoria Park was the first public park in London. It is located in Tower Hamlets and is bordered by the London Borough of Hackney. Victoria Park features lakes, trees, avenues and lots of places to enough sports.
There are three featured tree walks in Victoria Park. The East Walk is approximately 1.9 miles long. The path takes you around the largest part of the park and all of the trees on the walk are labelled. The West Walk is approximately 1.5 miles long. This path takes you around the “ornatmental side of the park,” including around the lake. The Avenue Perimeter Walk is approximately 2.9 miles long. This is the longest walk and it takes you around the entire perimeter of the park. All the walks have downloadable brochures on the Victoria Park website.
