Qualifications for this playing level include at least five years of badminton experience, previous badminton coaching and a familiarity with badminton principles and tactics. This requisite is to ensure competitive matches are available for all club members.

Marylebone Badminton Club is an active badminton club that operates out of the Seymour Leisure Centre in West London. The club has regular access to the centre's five courts and weekly club sessions are held on Saturdays from 09:00 to 11:00.
The club includes about 35 members, with the average playing ability at the intermediate level. Marylebone Badminton Club is established for the fun, fitness and recreation of playing badminton rather than competing, and as a result the club does not participate in tournaments.

Club members play with the highest quality feather shuttles and participate in the men's, mixed and ladies' divisions of the Middlesex league. Club sessions are held at Sobell Leisure Centre on Tuesdays from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Sundays from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
